At the end of December, Prof. Peter Lemmens was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kharkiv.
This honorary doctorate is based on joint research activities involving more than 60 joint publications, numerous workshops and projects. Contacts with various working groups in Kharkiv and mutual visits were established before 1998.
Peter Lemmens has been a member of QuantumFrontiers since 2018 and has been working at the Institute of Condensed Matter Physics at the Technical University of Braunschweig for 21 years.
