Physics summer internship „phySiqo“ at LUH

Pupils from the 10th grade onwards can spend two weeks in the laboratories of the Institute of Quantum Optics.

Exciting experiments with lasers, insights into current research, an electronics course, discussions with scientists and lots of information about studying physics: these are the contents of the phySiqo summer internship from July 29 to August 9, 2019 at the Institute of Quantum Optics at Leibniz University. Pupils interested in physics from the 10th grade onwards can apply for the internship and find out whether studying physics could be something for them.

The application must be submitted by 15 May 2019 with a detailed letter of motivation explaining why you are applying for the phySiqo, what ties you to physics and what is expected of the internship. Please send your school stamped application (letter of motivation, curriculum vitae and last school report) to the following address:

Twelve students will be selected for the internship with the help of a jury. All applicants will receive a 100 Euro book voucher for their efforts, which can be redeemed at the beginning of their studies at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Leibniz Universität Hannover.

Accommodation with breakfast in Hannover and lunch in the refectory is provided during the week. A school holiday ticket for Lower Saxony and Bremen will be refunded to the participants for the journey.
