With the European Cooperation in Science & Technology (COST) programme, the European Union supports scientists working on pioneering research topics to establish pan-European networks. With Christian Pfeifer and Dennis Rätzel from the Centre of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM), QuantumFrontiers is involved in two newly approved COST Actions on "Bridging high and low energies in search of quantum gravity" (BridgeQG) and "Relativistic Quantum Information" (RQI). The funding will enable scientists from the Cluster of Excellence to come together with hundreds of colleagues from all over Europe over the next four years and jointly develop new ideas in conferences, workshops or guest visits. Both networks have a budget of 575,000 euros each.
