How do you actually work with a quantum computer? The English-language Master's programme "Quantum Technologies in Electrical and Computer Engineering" (QTEC) opens up the world of quantum technologies to students in a hands-on way. In the midst of the Quantum Valley Lower Saxony, the future quantum engineers are not only at the pulse of excellent research of QuantumFrontiers but also surrounded by quantum-strong start-ups.

For a long time, "quantum" was a hint that things were about to get physical. However, the more technologies such as quantum computers or sensors develop, the more urgent the search for engineers who can work with these future technologies becomes. The new Master's degree programme at the TU Braunschweig, QTEC, starts exactly there. Together with the partner course "Quantum Engineering" at Leibniz University Hannover, an interdisciplinary module package consisting of physics, electrical engineering and information technology is being launched.
