Successful start for the MasterClasses at the Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Braunschweig

Local school students investigate QuantumFrontiers research topics via MasterClasses

On Saturday, 30.11.2019, Prof. Stefanie Kroker and her PhD student Florian Bruns successfully led an all-day workshop on interferometry as a kick-off to the so-called QuantumFrontiers MasterClasses.

The goal of the MasterClasses is to bring QuantumFrontiers research from the labs and offices into the hands of the students.

Through the MasterClasses, interested aspiring students have the opportunity to learn directly from QuantumFrontiers researchers about current scientific research and even to conduct their own experiments.

The MasterClasses will be offered in Hanover and Braunschweig by Prof. Rainer Müller and Prof. Gunnar Friege together with their new group members Dr. Azadeh Ghanbari and MSc Stina Scheer, who are dedicated to establishing the MasterClasses.

Further MasterClasses at Braunschweig schools are planned for the near future, and from April 2020 MasterClasses will be offered at Leibniz Universität Hannover.
