Who can participate in QuantumFrontiers Days?
In principle, any member of QuantumFrontiers may register. However, as we have a limited number of places available on site, the QuantumFrontiers Office reserves the right to close registration early and, under certain circumstances, to uninvite registered participants. In any case, the QuantumFrontiers Office will enable online participation. The links for this will be announced at the beginning of the event.

Is it possible to participate online?
Yes, participation via video conference will be set up so that people who are unable to attend in person can still join in. The links for this will be announced before the event begins.

Is it possible to participate on just one day?
Yes, this can be taken into account in the registration form.

Who is permitted to stay at the hotel?
The accommodation quota is reserved for people who have a longer journey to the venue. Examples of longer journeys include Braunschweig and Bremen. In addition, committee members (executive board or science board) have the right to stay at the hotel.

How do I get to the hotel?
Arrival
The Wienecke XI design hotel is located in Hannover-Wülfel at Hildesheimer Straße 380 and can be easily reached from the main train station in 15 to 20 minutes by tram lines 1 and 2 (towards Sarstedt). The Wiehbergstraße stop is located directly in front of the hotel.

How are travel expenses settled?
Travel expenses will be settled by the respective institutions of the employees. All participating QF members will be reimbursed for travel expenses in economy class in accordance with the Lower Saxony Travel Expense Regulation (NRKVO) and the Administrative Regulation on the Lower Saxony Travel Expense Regulation (VV-NRKVO) (Federal Travel Expense Law and the corresponding Lower Saxony implementation provisions). Per diem allowances are not paid.

Will there be another poster award?
Yes, doctoral candidates who participate in the poster session with a poster have the opportunity to win the ‘Poster Award’. The ‘Poster Award’ will be presented at the end of each day on both days.
