Who is the Founders Class aimed at?
The FoundersClass is a participatory workshop series addressing the topic of transfer and spin-off. It is open to all members of QF starting this year. It doesn't matter whether there is already a concrete business idea or whether the focus is on introducing people to the topic of founding a company.
-
What is the goal of the program?
The aim of the FoundersClass is to sensitize scientists to the topics of transfer and founding through impulses and interactive workshops and to provide them with the necessary know-how for the successful transfer of their own research results into application.
-
What does the program involve?
The program lasts 12 months and includes five digital, participative workshops as well as support during the year. The scientists reflect on their knowledge of technology transfer and learn about the potential of transfer through start-up. They actively engage with the topic of entrepreneurship and are encouraged to develop their own ideas and subsequently transfer them. In the program, the targeted involvement of specialists and reflection on the market takes place using the particular example of a real product launch during the FoundersClass. Participation in the program is certified with a certificate.
-
Who organizes the program?
The FoundersClass is organized in cooperation between QuantumFrontiers and HighTech Startbahn GmbH (HTSB). HTSB has an active network in the high-tech start-up environment as well as many years of experience in advising and supporting technological spin-offs from research.
