Title: "From 1d Transport to Twisted Bilayer Graphene"

Abstract:
Many-body interactions have pronounced consequences in low-dimensional quantum systems and lead to collective phenomena such assuperconductivity and the quantum Hall effect. Our research focusses both on developing methods (e.g., numerical tensor network methods or analytical RG schemes) to treat correlations and on applying them to new physical problems. I will discuss a few examples to illustrate this strategy and will be touching on a wide range of topics from 1d transport to twisted bilayer graphene.
