- Abstract
During the last two decades logistic performance indicators of industrial enterprises have become equally important for purchase decisions as the price and the product quality. For more than three decades the Institute of Production Systems and Logistics (IFA) is developing models and methods in order to master manufacturing and assembly processes. Currently the IFA is working on synchronisation of procurement, storage and manufacturing processes for the assembly material supply.
