The QuantumFrontiers TopicalGroup Open House in April will be held for the first time this year.

The TopicalGroup Open House will emphasize the importance of the TopicalGroups in our QuantumFrontiers community for supporting new and existing collaborations and integrating new members, especially early career researchers. The Open House in April gives the QuantumFrontiers community the chance to learn more about the research topics of other TopicalGroups, than those in which one is already involved.

Here are some examples of the topics that you can except at the TopicalGroup Open House meetings:

  • TG Education & Outreach: Laurenz Kötter, QuantumFrontiers' Science Communication Manager will present the QuantumFrontiers communication strategy and all members are invited to give feedback.
  • TG Sub-SQL in Suspended Interferometers: Gain an insider view into the ongoing activities at the 10 m protoype facility.
  • TG Backaction Evading Techniques: Group members will give reports on the status of their work on topics like the integration of nanostructured mirrors, characterising and eliminating noise, cooperation with the 10 m prototype.
  • TG Quantum Sensors for Geodetical Observations and Relativistic Geodesy: Talks about the Absolute Quantum Gravimeter developed at MuQuans/iXBlue

The schedule of the meeting dates with the video conference links are found on the Wiki, which can be accessed by all Members using SeaFile credentials. If you do not have access to the QuantumFrontiers-Wiki, please contact the TopicalGroup leader to ask to join the meeting.
