On Wednesday, 24 January, around 60 pupils explored the wide range of opportunities in electrical engineering at TU Braunschweig. In addition to institutes for high-voltage, communications technology and control engineering, the LENA research centre also opened its doors to young people in years 9 to 12 and provided an introduction to the topics of the QuantumFrontiers Cluster of Excellence. In small groups, pupils explored topics such as microscopic LEDs in lensless microscopes or immersed themselves in the world of quantum computing by playing in virtual reality.
