Abstract

We introduce a miniaturized, glass-based oven designed for atomic sources, essential for next-generation mobile quantum systems. Utilizing fused silica and innovative bridge structures to decouple the heater region from the substrate, the oven operates efficiently with low power consumption and rapid thermal response. Through advanced laser processing technologies, we fabricated and thermally characterized two oven designs featuring single and dual ring decoupling structures, both demonstrating excellent thermal performance. The design supports rapid temperature changes, reaching 400° C with just 150 mW of power under high vacuum conditions, facilitating seamless integration into high-precision atomic clocks via a solderless mounting system.
